We all go through a variety of life changes over the course of, well our life.  These changes can be career related, family related, or situational related.  Recently, I myself have been going through a variety of changes.  You see for years now I have been doing business management consulting with some success.  The only problem, as my readers already know, is that I never found it to be soul fulfilling.  I realize now that my crusade is what drives me above all things.  I love working with Entrepreneurs and watching them grow and expand their lives and businesses.  For me, few things are as fulfilling.

But you see I ran into a snag of late.  Entrepreneurs don’t like being consulted.  Well let me change that and say they don’t like consultation invoicing (at least how my company has always done it).  Instead, they prefer to pay a large amount up front with an acknowledged amount of sessions over an agreed upon amount of time.  So I have adapted and changed.  With that change came the realization a friend of mine laughing said to me, “Congratulations Dan, you are officially a Mentor.”

Not that there is anything wrong with that, I just never saw myself as a Mentor…even though my one on one sessions are more “Mentor-ish” than most “Mentors”.  I spend time with my clients and guide them individually.  I don’t do it via phone.  I don’t do it via webinar.  I do it face to face.  I also realize that this may change as well, as my time is already limited with a the amount of clients I have right now. (It has nothing to do with my 2 hour sessions stretching into 4-6 hour sessions…really.)

So I accept the moniker of Mentor if it suits the person I’m working with, yet I prefer to call myself a Life Directional Coach or something along those lines.

The other major change for me is my first full day event, planned for this January 24th (you can see the details here).  I have never done this without being a part of a group presentation, so it’s a bit frightening.  Not that my content isn’t good, because I know it is, it’s just the fear of doing my own solo event.  It’s probably just as exciting as it is frightening to be honest.

In my event, I am going to be teaching the audience how I simply turned on the switch that has lead our Simply Sold Home Buyers business to average a lead a day.  I’m also, and perhaps even more exciting, going to teach others how to make passive income via Affiliate marketing.  I began testing this system back in early November and to date, I have made a five figure income (yes that is the tens of thousands in less than 3 months time).  Needless to say I am going to show people how they can tap this resource for pennies a click!
